About Photography by Charly Makray-Rice

Wisconsin editorial, nature and event photographer within an hour of Madison, Wisconsin. Close to Wisconsin Dells, Baraboo, and Portage, Wisconsin. Charly Makray-Rice was inspired by the prairies, nature, and wetlands still remaining in the midwest. In 2009, she entered three photography contests and placed as honorable mention in two consecutive PDN/Visionage contests and the Smithsonian magazine semi-finalist, ending up in the 350 out of 20,000+ entries submitted. Her editorial photography has been published in calendars, regional brochures, travel guides and textbooks.
